Over 30 million people live in Texas Historically,
Industry : four major industries shaped the Texas economy prior to World War II: cattle and bison, cotton, timber, and oil.[17] Before and after the Civil War, the cattle industry—which Texas came to dominate—was a major economic driver for the state, and created the traditional image of the Texas cowboy. In the later 19th century, cotton and lumber grew to be major industries as the cattle industry became less lucrative. Ultimately, the discovery of major petroleum deposits (Spindletop in particular) initiated an economic boom that became the driving force behind the economy for much of the 20th century. Texas developed a diversified economy and high tech industry during the mid-20th century. As of 2022, it has the most Fortune 500 company headquarters (53) in the United States.[18][19] With a growing base of industry, the state leads in many industries, including tourism, agriculture, petrochemicals, energy, computers and electronics, aerospace, and biomedical sciences. Texas has led the U.S. in state export revenue since 2002 and has the second-highest gross state product. If Texas were a sovereign state, it would have the 10th-largest economy in the world.
Texas shares borders with the states of Louisiana to the east, Arkansas to the northeast, Oklahoma to the north, New Mexico to the west, and the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas to the south and southwest; and has a coastline with the Gulf of Mexico to the southeast.
What would happen if Texas decided to succeed from the Union ?
If Texas were to secede from the United States, it would have a significant impact on both the state and the country as a whole. As mentioned previously, Texas has one of the largest economies in the country, so its departure would cause major economic disruptions. It is also home to many important industries such as oil and gas, agriculture, technology, and manufacturing. Would civil war start of Texas succeeded from the union ?
How does a state succeed from the union ?
The process of seceding from the union is not clearly outlined in the US Constitution, so it would likely be a contentious and complicated process. It could involve political negotiations, legal battles, and potentially even violence. In fact, when Texas joined the United States in 1845, it was with the understanding that it had the right to divide into up to five new states. This could potentially complicate the process of secession as well. Ultimately, it would be up to the federal government and Texas leaders to determine how a state can officially secede from the union. However, it is important to note that the US Supreme Court has ruled that states do not have the right to unilaterally secede from the United States. Thus, the process would most likely require some level of cooperation from both parties. Additionally, any attempts to secede would likely face strong opposition and backlash from other states and the federal government. Ultimately, it is a complex and highly debated issue that has not been tested in modern times.
The federal government has failed the state of Texas in securing the southern Border with Mexico
allowing millions of illegal aliens to enter the country every year. This has led to strain on local resources and an increase in crime rates. The state of Texas, along with other border states, has repeatedly called for stronger border control measures and assistance from the federal government to address this issue. Biden has failed Texas and Texas has taken measures to protect its integrity as a state, to put an end to the repeated and supported migration of illegal aliens into Texas.
Talk of Civil War is in the air and on the toughts of many right now since the feds have failed the state of Texas, why would or should Texas continue to support a corrupt federal regime. The ultimate slap on the face is when Supreme Court cowardly gave federal agents the go to cut through barbed wire that Texas put up along the southern border. Justices John Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett sided with the court's 3 liberals in the 5-4 decision. This ruling not only undermines the state's efforts to secure its own borders but also highlights the ongoing tension and power struggle between states and the federal government.
This decision raises questions about the limits of state autonomy and the extent of federal authority. It also brings attention to the larger issue of states' rights and their ability to govern themselves without interference from the federal government. As seen in this case, the federal government has the final say on matters that affect state borders, even if it goes against the wishes of the state.
If this situation escalates into hostility, I believe that the Federal military bases in Texas would be incorporated in the Military of Texas , furthermore other states would probably be in support of Texas. What about the citizens of Texas who do not support Texas succeeding from the union? The most humane thing to do would be to allow those citizens to go to a state that is not in support of Texas. The most humane thing to do with the illegals that are in Texas would be to deport them into Mexico or into states where liberal governors would welcome the illegal aliens.
I personally do not want civil war in our country as it opens the door for unhealthy alliances and risks for escalation with other foriegn entities in our country. For this situation to be resolved, allow Texas to secure her borders. Instead, the current Regime is following the marching orders of the globalist marxist who want to destroy our nation, What better way to have a puppet in the White House and have citizens fight each other along the way.
It is unlikely that Texas's secession would lead to a civil war, as the majority of Texans do not support the idea of leaving the United States. However, there could be political and social unrest within the state if such a decision were made. Additionally, it is important to note that seceding from the Union is not an easy process and would likely face legal challenges and opposition from the federal government. Overall, while secession may seem like a tempting idea to some, it would likely have more negative consequences than positive ones for both Texas and the United States. So, it is important for states to work together and find solutions within the union rather than breaking away.
